About Texas Farm Ranch Land Geography

Depending on who you talk to there are four to seven regions of Texas. Texas land is divided into four distinct natural geographical formations; North Central Plains, Great Plains, Mountains & Basins and Central Plains. Regionally, Texas offers seven different areas known as Big Bend Country bordering the western edge, Gulf Coast and South Texas Plains along the Southern border, Hill Country, Prairies and Lakes in Central Texas,  the Panhandle Plains in the North and Pineywoods bordering on the eastern edge of the estate. East Texas is known for its forestry and hay production, while West Texas’ terrain is good for sheep and goats along with its vast mineral production.
